Reading difficulty: the typical 7th grade text-complexity band is 925–1185L (Common Core Appendix A). Of the 79 titles here with a Lexile score, 16 are grade-level, 62 are more accessible (often chosen for theme over reading challenge), and 1 is a stretch text.
